Project Development

Zeya & Associates Co., Ltd. is a leading Myanmar engineering company engaged in the development of power generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure. As an Independent Power Producer (IPP), we are committed to delivering reliable, sustainable, and innovative energy solutions that support Myanmar's economic growth and energy security.

Our journey in power generation began in 2013 with the successful development and operation of the Hlawga 50 MW Natural Gas Engine Power Plant as Myanmar's first privately owned thermal power plant.

Zeya & Associates has partnered with international investors and technology providers to develop and operate a portfolio of LNG and natural gas-fired power plants across Rakhine State, Mandalay Region, Magway Region, and Yangon Region, with a combined installed capacity of 1,299 MW. In 2019, we successfully launched LNG Ship-to-Ship (STS) Operations near Thamee Hla Island in Tanintharyi Region to support the 750 MW LNG-to-Power Projects. The operation, together with the acquisition of Temporary Customs Port License, demonstrated our capability to deliver complex energy infrastructure and logistics solutions in collaboration with international partners.

As Myanmar's electricity demand continues to grow with an annual rate of 15 %, Zeya & Associates is expanding its focus toward clean and renewable energy. Guided by our Chairman's long-term vision and the 100-Year Plan, we are committed to developing 30 MW of renewable energy capacity annually, supporting Myanmar's transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable, and low-carbon energy future. As the first milestone of this vision, our 15 MW Solar Power Plant in Nay Pyi Taw commenced commercial operation in May 2026. Under the MOUs with the Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE), we are conducting feasibility studies for wind power project developments in Mandalay Region and Mon State.

With decades of engineering expertise, strong project execution capabilities, and strategic partnerships with leading international organizations, Zeya & Associates is dedicated to building resilient energy infrastructure and delivering sustainable power solutions that create long-term value for our clients, partners, communities, and the nation.
