The Project Organization (continued)
In its simplest form, the Project Organization is the WBS with the name of the responsible person added to each block on the chart, as shown below. Many times project teams create a separate Organization Chart, or ever worse, they produce a resource pool of potential candidates when asked for their Project Organization. This is unnecessary, and may not develop ownership. Here, the team used titles instead of people’s names when names are preferable.
